Sample figures for the template. Replace with the real baseline measured at kickoff.
Lumen Health came to the studio with a clinical product that patients could not tell apart from a spreadsheet. The brief was narrow: keep the compliance, lose the fear. We spent six weeks shadowing clinicians and patients before drawing a single line.
The measure of success was not a redesign trophy. It was whether a patient, sitting in a waiting room, could finish a task without asking for help.
We rebuilt the identity around a single idea: warmth without softness. The wordmark holds its weight at 12 pixels and 12 feet. The palette is two colors and a neutral; everything else is type.
The product surface is a quiet system of cards, each one a single decision. We removed 41% of the screens the previous product required to complete the same five tasks. The remaining screens were re-sequenced so the hardest decisions came after the easy ones.
